Throughout my time at Purdue, I've developed a varied portfolio of work throughout my classes. Here, I'll discuss some of my favorite projects.

Technical Writing

Linking Pages in HTML 5: A quick guide instructing how to link multiple pages in HTML5. It highlights my documentation writing and document design skills. 

Greyhouse Coffee & Supply Co. Style Guide: A style guide written for the redesigned Greyhouse Coffee & Supply Co. website. It demonstrates my documentation writing style and document design skills. 

Using the Mailings Feature of Microsoft Word 2010: A quick guide detailing how to set up and use Microsoft Word's mailings feature. It demonstrates my software documentation style. 

The Green Benefits of Nuclear Energy: A white paper explaining why nuclear energy should be utilized as a green energy source. I specifically wrote the section "Concerns About Nuclear Power" and designed the overall layout. 

Cuisinart Pure Indulgence Ice Cream Maker: A technical marketing brochure for the Cuisinart Pure Indulgence Ice Cream Maker. It highlights my document design skills and ability to write marketing content. 

The Digitization of the Crouse Scholarships: Using Drupal to Create an Online Submission & Review Site: A proposal to Purdue's Professional Writing program outlining why they should implement a Drupal-based submission and review site for the Crouse Scholarships. I specifically wrote the "Plan" section and designed the cover and layout. 

Crouse Fellowship Award Website Manual: The manual for the Crouse Scholarships Website. It highlights my documentation writing style and document design skills. I specifically wrote Section 1: Getting to Know the Site, and Section 3: Administrative Tasks - Editing Site Information and Set Registration Rules. I also helped design the layout.  

Crouse Scholarships Site: The Crouse Scholarships submission and review website created using Drupal content management system software. 

Document Design and Formal Reports

Interview Report: A formal report summarizing my findings from an interview with a Purdue Professional Writing alumna. It demonstrates my writing style. 

Psychological Sciences Newsletter: A newsletter designed for Purdue's Psychological Sciences department. It highlights my document design skills.
Spring Writing Showcase Portfolio: The final portfolio for my work in the Purdue University Spring Writing Showcase. It is my final project for the Professional Writing major, and it highlights my document design skills and writing style. 

Survivor Resources Handout: A handout I designed for my internship with Ovar'Coming Together, Inc. to be used in their Hope Packets. 

Wedding Program: The program I designed for my July 2012 wedding. 

Wedding Menu: The menu I designed for my July 2012 wedding. 

Wedding Welcome Bag Brochure: The brochure I designed to place in the welcome bags for out-of-town guests to my July 2012 wedding.
